Strange as it may seem, we have seen progress, growth and continued determination to innovate, across a whole panoply of customers and suppliers throughout 2020.
Not all of course – the headline figures don’t make great reading for any industry – but when you drill down to individual firms there is good news out there.
There are projects that have carried on unchanged, there are signs of bouncing back and others steadily carrying on. Many ventures, events and ideas have not gone away – just on hold waiting for restrictions to ease.
We will be ready for the upturn, and we know we are not alone in that belief.
The QK Group hasn’t gone unscathed through the Pandemic – but we have held the line on rolling investment plans in the knowledge that the bigger picture will get better.
Because of that determination and unbending vision, 2020 has seen us launch our first Ecommerce site for Quickits Stock items, install the UK’s first 10K Laser – with Beam Shaper Technology – at Laser Ltd, and grow Premier Powder Coating Ltd from an almost standing start to beyond anything we imagined just a year ago.
The strategy of being able to offer a combination of – or individual company – offerings, has stood us in good stead throughout this historic year; with further news to come in the New Year.
As these words are written thousands of our most elderly and vulnerable are receiving the first vaccine from Pfizer – by Easter, they are saying, enough may be protected for us all to enjoy a normal Summer – who thought that would be an early Christmas Present this time last year?
Our wish for all our colleagues and friends is that this time next year, we will all be looking forward to a perfect Christmas period – fitting in many outrageously over the top Festive Parties – or maybe just contentedly collapsing onto a family sofa in total relief!
